All the sites are pull-through, which is nice. The Caballo Mountains in the background is where Caballo Lake is.
Wish state parks would stop trying to grow grass…they just end up with stickers. Could not walk Jake across their “grass” because his feet would get covered in stickers. They are really bad ones that are hard to remove and often leave splinters behind.

There are supposed to be bald and golden eagles in the area. This poor quality picture could be either an eagle or a hawk.
